Middlesex Countyís Solid Waste & Extension Departments Present a Composting Workshop
Middlesex County residents can learn how to reduce waste and improve their soil by composting yard waste and kitchen scraps in their backyards. An overview of this waste- reducing technique will be presented at two free composting seminars held at the Middlesex County EARTH Center in Davidsonís Mill Pond Park, 42 Riva Avenue South Brunswick. Classes will run approximately 2 hours.

Workshop attendees may also pick up pre-purchased compost bins at the workshops. Call the Solid Waste office for a list of available compost bins.
These workshops are part of the first fully staffed season of the EARTH Center. At the EARTH Center, besides learning about composting, county residents can purchase soil test kits, pesticide application test manuals or submit pest & disease samples.
