The Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders takes pride in presenting the annual Stars & Stripes Forever Concert at the State Theatre in New Brunswick at 2PM on Sunday, September 14th.
Featured in this patriotic concert this year along with the Garden State Symphonic Band, will be the Glee Club of the United States Military Academy at West Point, N.Y. This will be the first personal appearance ever in this region of the Glee Club as it observes its 100th anniversary.
The 80 members Glee Club is recognized as America’s Ambassador of Music and its prestigious history includes performances at the major American and International venues of State and entertainment, which includes Affairs of State for Presidents and visiting Heads of States.
Once again, the Garden State Symphonic Band, conducted by Christian Pedersen Jr., of Fords will feature Broadway baritone Ken Wasser.
In addition, highlights of the concert provide the superb bagpipe solo of Ron Keveaney, East Brunswick police detective, the highly acclaimed Westfield Fife & Drum Corps plus a musical version of the Pledge of Allegiance by Laurie Angela Hochman who has performed with major American symphonies, including the Boston Pops.

All profits go to the scholarship fund established at Middlesex County College by the Board of Chosen Freeholders for the children of victims of 9/11 residing in the county.
