Register Now for Fifth Annual Pancreatic Cancer Walk

It’s not too late to register for the fifth annual Pancreatic Cancer Walk benefitting research at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey. The walk is scheduled to begin 9 a.m. Saturday, June 8 at Roosevelt Park in Edison, near the lake.

Registration for the event is $15. Participants are welcome to form teams with family, co-workers and friends. Entertainment and refreshments will be provided throughout the event. All registered walkers will receive a T-shirt.

Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.

The event is co-sponsored by the Middlesex County Office of Health Services and the Regional Chronic Disease Coalition, in conjunction with the Edison Municipal Alliance.

“This is one of the few ways, we in the public can support those who are suffering with such a devastating disease,” said Middlesex County Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios.  “Come out and take a stand, or in this case, a stroll against pancreatic cancer.”
