Middlesex County Go Green Save Green: A Practical Approach For Your Community

Welcome

Reducing Middlesex County’s carbon footprint, preserving our natural resources, reducing energy consumption, utilizing renewable energy sources and making our County sustainable can only be accomplished if each individual commits to making a difference.

This Go Green Save Green Challenge has been designed to identify the many individuals, groups, businesses, organizations, municipal and school entities that have already taken steps to implement energy efficiency, green technology or other sustainable initiatives that will help our environment and  reduce energy consumption. They have done it because they believe they can make a difference. Whether it is using CFL bulbs, investing in solar power, driving a hybrid or making their home or business green, these individuals made a commitment to our environment for today and future generations. They believe that each individual’s actions become a part of a greater movement toward sustainability. They are absolutely right.

I encourage you to fill out our Go Green Save Green Challenge form and submit it to our office. We want to recognize and thank you for your commitment. We also are developing a list of green-minded individuals to whom we could forward information about new initiaves, grants, rebate incentives and new products.

On behalf of the Middlesex County Board of Freeholders and all of the residents of our County, today and in the future, thank you for your commitment. It does make a difference.

Sincerely,

H. James Polos
