These IF PLANTS
COULD TALK "Quick Tip" Educational videos feature topics in
the realm of home horticulture and natural resource management. They
are presented by the Middlesex County office of Rutgers Cooperative
Extension who would like to thank the Middlesex County Board of Chosen
Freeholders for the continued support of the Extension office and our
new home at the EARTH Center. These videos contain topics that have
been featured on the Environmental stewardship TV series called IF
PLANTS COULD TALK (which aired on NJN Public Television). Video
content created by the Middlesex County Extension service can also be
seen on many Cable Access stations throughout Middlesex County.
We would like to
invite educators throughout Middlesex County, New Jersey and beyond
to use these videos as a learning tool and consider using proper cultural
practices within their own environment. Any students, teachers, scout
troops or educational groups of any sort who view these videos and would
like to offer feedback or request more video content are encouraged
to do so by e-mailing david.smela@co.middlesex.nj.us.
Viewers who would like to learn more on these topics are also invited
to take part in Middlesex County's Master Gardener Program, hosted by
the Extension services Agriculture & Natural Resource Management
Department. Currently Middlesex County is the only county in the state
to offer both a daytime and evening Master Gardeners Class. Call the
office for more details.
