The Division of
Archives and Records Management Center was the first county facility
in the State of New Jersey designed and constructed for the purpose
of records management. All other facilities were buildings already constructed
and modified for the purpose of records management. It was dedicated
on July 23,1991.
This Division is
the storage facility where County departments, and some municipalities,
house inactive records. They are still the property of the individual
departments; therefore; access to them is restricted.
